When
“I Love My Mac” came out on the December issue
of MacAddict Magazine’s CD-ROM, and then a couple of
months after that made its appearance in the iTunes Music
Stores, I heard from many fans who asked me if I was going
to write some kind of follow-up song to the mac song, or
another song based on Apple products.
After some thought, I felt that a song based on another
Apple product was the way to go, and it didn’t take
long to decide which product either! So many people - from
grannies to students to athletes - are using iPods of one
kind or another, that it has made the iPod the most
popular, most easily and widely recognizable Apple product
around these days. You could go so far as to say that those
who have adopted the iPod and use it every day have
undergone a lifestyle change... for the better of course!
Keeping that in mind, I then visited many websites that
talked about the various iPods, and read many blogs to see
what people were saying about them and what they were using
them for, and after a while I started to get a good feel
for what I wanted to talk (or rather sing) about in the
song lyrics.
In addition to the main song, I added in a solo section and
a surprise section before the end. I say surprise because
it still is a surprise to me every time I listen to it : )
I hope you all will enjoy it too - not just the
“surprise”, but the whole song!
